The key note speaker at HRT’s recent medication Improvement Group, Johanna Westbrook, presented findings from an incident reporting study of 2 major hospitals. It highlighted the significant limitations of incident data and found that electronic clinical information systems may present an opportunity to revolutionise the quality and timeliness of medication related data.
