NEW REPORT AVAILABLE!  In 2015 the Grattan Institute published a report on Questionable Care: Avoiding Ineffective Treatment based on 2010/11 data.  Their analysis has been reproduced and updated from 2010 to 2015 by the Roundtable for all members to see how their hospital is trending for eight questionable care procedures.  Overall the trends are in the right direction however there is still scope for improvement. Your report is available under ‘My Data’ page after login or contact us through the chat box.  Examples of questionable care are:

‘Do NOT DO EVER’ procedures e.g. arthroscopic debridement for osteoarthritis of the knee.  and
Do NOT DO ROUTINELY procedures e.g. amniotomy to augment labour during a normal delivery
