This special Roundtable was privileged to hear from Axel Hofmann, James Isbister and Shannon Farmer, international experts in the field of Patient Blood Management. Members have an exciting opportunity to learn about good practice from local Australian exemplars.  Blood transfusions do save lives however a key message was that reform in RBC transfusion practice must be implemented to address the risks and harms of inappropriate RBC transfusions for 50% of transfused patients.  The problem, solution and benefits for patients and health services are well studied, making PBM and ideal program to realise quick wins.   Click for Axel Hofmann and Click for James Isbister Part 1 &
