Northern Hospital Allied Health establish EFT/bed ratios for Inpatient units

Historically, there was little science associated with EFT proposals for Allied Health at Northern Hospital, relying instead on personal experience and anecdotal data. This made justifying recommendations difficult and potentially inequitable. The Allied team developed and implemented a new ratio system for EFT/bed calculations for Inpatients in Acute and Continuing Care. The ratios have proved successful, with Finance and Program Directors understanding the value and robustness of AH requests.
