Executive Rounding & Patient Safety Scrums at Gold Coast Uni Hospital promote safety and quality

A trial of executive rounding at Gold Coast University Hospital was successful, with all staff able to discuss their safety and quality concerns with the Executive team and 73% finding it helpful. There was also a focus on identifying ‘Areas of Excellence’ with all patients able to nominate staff who were providing excellent care.
