Bendigo Health improve the patient’s surgery journey by addressing their anxiety

Anecdotal evidence suggested that patients with increased anxiety often related to their lack of knowledge of the theatre process. The Bendigo Health surgery team also identified missing chain links in the patient’s surgery journey process. They designed a pictorial flow chart with input from the Bendigo Health Reference Group and a Consultant Anaesthetist resulting in good patient evaluation feedback.
