Alfred Health creates a Hospital @ Night Team ensuring safer care of patients after hours
In October 2013 the Alfred launched their “Hospital @ Night Team” involving a complete rethink about how they were approaching this vulnerable period. Keynote speaker Martin Keogh, at the 2015 Nursing Improvement Group Meeting, demonstrated a multi-tiered approach including an electronic afterhours clinical operations management system and new coordination roles, to record impressive improvements to safety across the board.
