Illawara Shoalhaven is improving the quality of radiology requests.

Illawara Shoalhaven Medical Imaging is achieving this by developing new business rules (referenced to RANZCR standards and incorporated into JMO education) for radiology requests. It is supported by online learning modules. Monthly RIS reports will enable feedback on quality to referring groups via discipline Morbidity and Mortality meetings, and to individual clinicians via individual coaching and feedback.
