The HRT1708 Annual Data Review Workshop is scheduled for the 2nd & 3rd May 2017 at the UTS Aerial Function Centre, Hones Street, Sydney. The purpose of the workshop is to:

  • Review 2016 reports and learn how Roundtable data can help you to identify the ‘low hanging fruit’ at your organisation.  The Roundtable team will provide sessions covering:
    - The important reports produced by the Roundtable for your hospital, and how to identify key issues that affect your organisation.
    - How to use the data to connect with your peers, identify exemplars and engage clinicians.
    - Learn key Roundtable concepts including an in depth session on Roundtable’s latest HDxSMR (Hospital Diagnosis Standardised Mortality Ratio) methodology.
    - Learn about available online analytics tools available to your organisation from the Roundtable, to be able to drill down and investigate your own data.

  • Hear from
    - Jennifer Nobbs, Executive Director ABF, Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (IHPA) will be talking about ‘Funding and pricing for quality and safety’ and available to answer your questions and gather your feedback.
    - Qingsheng Zhou, Senior Research Fellow, National Centre For Classification In Health (NCCH) will share the latest about DRG9! – What’s new and improved in the latest version of the DRG system, the logic behind the updates and when is it planned to be rolled out.
    - From a Roundtable hospital on how they are using data and analytics to identify opportunities and drive change at their organisation.

  • Share, discuss and plan
    - Hospitals will get an opportunity to share the latest innovations at their organisation with others.
    - As well as workshop how to best assimilate Roundtable information into their organisation.

  • Who Should Participate?
We invite both new and existing users of the HRT reports to this meeting. It’s a great opportunity to learn how you can use the Roundtable reports at your organisation, and learn what your peers around the country are doing.  We encourage you to send a mixed team of clinicians, analysts and process improvement personnel.  Generally, when teams of about 3-4 people attend the meeting and develop an agreed action plan, improvements are more likely to be implemented. This workshop is included in your organisations core subscription however day delegate fees apply of $395 pp.   For those interested there is an optional networking dinner on Wednesday 3rd of May.

This workshop is in high demand and had a waitlist last year, so we would encourage you to register early. Please register by clicking the REGISTER button on top right of this screen.

Attendance to the data review workshop is required for participants who are interested in also getting the Roundtable’s super user certification.
