The theme for 2016 for Hospital in the Home Services is improving
utilisation and efficiency.

For many years health systems have recognised the need to deliver acute care in the home as an alternative to care in a hospital setting. Seventy-nine of the 185 member facilities of The Health Roundtable deliver Hospital in the Home services however there is considerable variation in utilisation of HITH amongst current providers. In this workshop we will
analyse the current top 20 Principle Diagnosis codes managed in HITH and explore emergent diagnosis and procedures that could be future candidates for HITH.
