The aim of this Group is to improve the provision of safe mental health services by sharing information on implementing innovative and effective practices. The group receives a series of annual reports that contain both inpatient and community data as well as some outcome measures. Separate reports are provided for adults, aged and CAMHS services. (All first time attendees and those interested in understanding how Health Roundtable bench-marking data is compiled, and how it can be used, are strongly encouraged to attend this session)

Guest speaker – James Downie, Acting CEO, IHPA – James will be presenting the new Mental Health Classification system for discussion & an overview of IHPA strategy for the next 12-24 months

Mental Health data review & issues discussion

We will split into program groups for separate sessions to discuss the data and/or any other issues

(Small group discussion with other participants from same state or country on how issues can be addressed)

Not letting up – creating a new culture - Team Action Planning

Participants will work with their own health service team again to develop and write an Aim Statement and Action Plan based on the good ideas you have heard.

All plans will be placed on wall posters for general improvement discussion / suggestions by other teams.

Finally, teams will refine their action plans.

Teams to input into our online system the key issues / things they need help with around their Action plan.
