The Health Roundtable is delighted to have Joshua Tepper, President and Chief Executive Officer of Health Quality Ontario, lead a workshop based on Ontario’s Quality Improvement Plans: Shining the spotlight on good ideas! Thursday 26 March, Sydney. Click here for program
Ontario has now four years of experience with Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs), which started in the hospital sector and, over the course of the last few years, extended to primary care organizations, long-term care homes and community care access centres– over 1000 Health Care Provider Groups!
QIPs play a pivotal role in improving the quality of care that is delivered in Ontario. They allow organizations to formalize their quality improvement activities, articulate their goals, and identify concrete ways of achieving their goals.
In this workshop Joshua will share Key Observations highlighting activities that have been linked to positive gains for seven priority indicators. By shining a spotlight on the ideas that have been most effective we in Australasia can also learn from the Ontario experience.
Workshop Aim: To understand evidence supported change ideas that have delivered improved patient outcomes in Ontario and share ideas on ways to implement in the Australasian context.
Who should attend? Senior Program Leaders and Managers of Performance Improvement, Redesign, Quality and Safety Managers.
Meeting Cost: The registration fee for this one-day special workshop is $495 per person plus GST, including the meeting venue, refreshments, and lunch. Please make your own travel and accommodation arrangements, and register by 18 March. Space is limited to 50 participants, with no more than three delegates per health service.
