In 2015 the Imaging Improvement Group’s focus will be on making the best use of a department of clinical imaging by focusing on referral into and productivity of imaging departments.

Members of the Group provide their detailed activity data for each patient
encounter for comparative analysis by The Health Roundtable. This is merged with inpatient and ED episode data to provide additional insight.

Thursday 26^th February 2015
8:30 – 9:00	Registration (Arrival Tea and Coffee)
9:00 – 9:15	Introduction at tables and introduction to the Health Roundtable
9:15 – 9:45	Progress to Aims Session Each team from 2014 will provide a 2 minute update on their progress
9:45 – 10:45	Using data to improve use of clinical radiology departments An overview of the 2013-14 benchmarking data, along with the results of the pre-meeting survey will be provided
10:45 – 11:15	*Morning tea*
11:15 – 12:00	Thought Starter – Thinking differently about your Imaging Department Dr Michael Hession (Senior Emergency Physician, Blacktown-Mt Druitt Hospital) and Dr James Nol (Operations Director Blacktown Mt Druitt Hospitals Imaging)
12:00 – 12:30	Small group discussions around key points raised

13:30 – 14:45	Poster presentations: Each organisation to highlight one innovation around “making the best use of a clinical imaging department” over the past year or more.

9:00 – 9:30	Recap of Day 1 and Review of innovations from around Australia, New Zealand and the world
9:30 – 10:00	VAGO Utilisation of High-Value Imaging Equipment Michael Herbert will give an overview of this recent study
10:00 – 10:30	Small group discussions around key points raised
10:30 – 11:00	*Morning Tea*
11:00 – 12:00	Hot Issues Form and Action Planning Health Service teams develop action plans for next 12 months to improve the effectiveness of their service with limited resources
12:00 – 12:30	Next Steps Changes to Data Reports, What topics would you be interested in for the 2016 meeting of the Imaging Improvement Group?
12:30 – 13:30	*Lunch*
13:30 – 14:30 Optional Session	Deep Dive into Health Roundtable Reports Health Roundtable Staff will provide more information on the Health Roundtable Imaging Reports and also other key summary reports that are available to all members.

Accommodation & Flight Arrangements

Delegates are responsible for making their own accommodation and travel arrangements.

The Pullman Brisbane has set aside rooms for the nights of 25^th and 26^th Feb 2015 for The Health Roundtable at the rate of $200.00 room only or $225.00 with Breakfast for a standard room.

All Rates are inclusive of GST (10%) and subject to availability upon confirmation. Rates will be available up until 30 days prior.
