The inaugural meeting of the NZ Benchmarking Group is set for 14-15 October, in Auckland, at the Stamford Plaza Hotel.  The afternoon of the 14th is planned as a tutorial session for the new members (and new senior staff at existing members) to explain the basic benchmarking concepts used by The Health Roundtable.  The workshop on the 15th is planned for all NZ members to examine the comparative data, and identify “good practice” goals for specific initiatives to work on as a group.

Who Should Participate?

This important inaugural meeting should involve the Personal Members of each of the NZ member organisations of The Health Roundtable, and a maximum of two other senior managers who have operational responsibility for inpatient and/or emergency care.  The comparative information to be presented will be in “Executive Summary” form highlighting strategic issues that emerge from the data. Technical data issues will be reviewed with your data liaison staff prior to this meeting.

Please register to participate in this Benchmarking Group meeting by 14 September.

Note: If you require accommodation at the Stamford Plaza Auckland please make your accommodation reservation before 12 September 2008.
