9.30 – 10.30am	Keynote Presentation – ABF Pricing for Sub-acute Services James Downie, Executive Director, Independent Hospital Pricing Authority The Pricing Framework for 2013/14 with a focus on current and future directions for Sub-Acute price adjustments.
10.30 – 11.00am	Morning Tea
11.00 – 12 noon	Clinician Presentation Dr Paul Varghese – Director of Geriatric Medicine, Associate Professor, Consultant Geriatrician/Physician, Princess Alexandra Hospital. Thought starter on establishing a Roundtable Improvement group on Sub-acute services in an ABF environment. What might it look like?
12.00 – 12.30pm	Cost & Revenue Comparisons – Where do we stand? How do Sub-Acute Services costs compare using 2011/12 cost data – are the current reports relevant for this group? How do Sub-acute components of (Geriatric) Rehabilitation, GEM care, Maintenance care, Palliative care and Psychogeriatric care compare across health services. How does NWAU revenue compare across health services? Discussion: What is “good practice” regarding coding and costing allocation? How to improve readiness for Activity Based Funding?

1.30 – 2.30pm	Quality of care data – How do we compare? Overview of existing measures of quality of care within the Health Roundtable’s reports e.g.: Falls Readmissions Medication Errors Surgical Incidents Discussion: What Sub-acute specific quality indicators should be collected and reported regularly?

2.45 – 3.30pm	Health Service Action Planning: Key actions in our Health Service for 2013/14 Identifying other Health Service Collaborations

Accommodation & Flight Arrangements

Delegates are responsible for making their own accommodation and travel/flight arrangements.

The Novotel Brisbane has set aside rooms for the night of 16 October 2013 for The Health Roundtable at the Conference rate of AUD$239.00 (inc GST) room only, per room per night.

Breakfast rates are charged at a rate of $20.00 per person when contracted at the time of booking the accommodation. Otherwise the Full Buffet Breakfast rate is $29.50 per person if not included in the accommodation rate.
