The upcoming maternity meeting has been co-developed by The Health Roundtable (HRT) and Women’s Healthcare Australasia (WHA). The meeting is scheduled for 11-12 April at the Citigate Hotel Sydney.

During 2012 our two organisations conducted a joint survey which showed strong member support for both organisations working together. Subsequently the Boards of each organisation endorsed the benefits of working together to improve value for money for members and improve delivery of services to women and their babies.

The primary purpose of the April meeting is to explore ways that your health service can “Reduce the impact of postpartum haemorrhage.”  Delegates will share their current data, issues, practices and ideas and have time to develop these into action plans.

Who should participate in this meeting?
Organisations may participate if they are subscribers to The Health Roundtable Maternity Group or members of Women’s Healthcare Australasia. This Roundtable should involve an Executive Sponsor, the Maternity Service Clinical and Operational Leaders and anyone with an interest and/or expertise in postpartum haemorrhage. Each organisation may send a team of 4-5 people.

Note: Delegates are responsible for making their own accommodation and travel/flight arrangements. If you require accommodation you must book before 11 March 2013. Requests for accommodation after this date will be subject to the Hotel's availability. Please see Accommodation information below.
